Sommer 2012.

Bemerkenswert.

Mit Nathalie Richard (Véronique), Djedje Apali (Peter), Jeanne Ruff (Claire).

Summer 2012. 16-year-old Marine Vacth (Isabelle) is on holiday at the sea with her brother Fantin Ravat (Victor) and her parents. She turns 17 and sleeps with a man for the first time: the German Lucas Prisor (Félix). Paris, in autumn. Vacth distances herself from her parents. In a hotel she sleeps with older men after school and gets paid for it. When the heart-sick and elderly Johan Leysen (Georges Férière) dies while with her, she flees. In winter, the police appear at her mother Géraldine Peilhas‘ (Sylvie) house and the affair is discovered. The mother reacts shocked and helpless, the stepfather Frédérick Pierrot (Patrick) more moderate. Vacth tries to return to her youthful surroundings and begins a relationship with the young Laurent Delbecque (Alex). In the spring she leaves him. She reactivates her old telephone and meets Charlotte Rampling (Alice), the wife of the deceased, in the same hotel for a conversation. This helps her.

At the beginning, with the sexual initiation, even still in the description of prostitution, distant and without much interest. But with the revelation, this changes: the alphabet of bourgeois life, toxic though it may be, is spelled out – even towards the spouse, without having done justice to it. At the latest, when the delinquent calls her parents „complete idiots“ and one has to agree with her, it proves that the subject can never be dealt with socially, but only humanly, as the ending shows. Remarkable.
