Grünes Feuer

Kolumbien. Stewart Granger (Rian Mitchell) hat eine Smaragdmine aus der Conquistadorenzeit wiederentdeckt und beutet sie ohne besonderen Erfolg mit seinem Freund Paul Douglas (Vic Leonard) aus. Die Kaffeeplantage von Grace Kelly (Catherine Knowland) gerät dadurch in Gefahr. Granger opfert die Mine in einer großen Sprengung zugunsten der Plantage.

Mit einigen kleinen Verweisen auf „Der Schatz der Sierre Madre“ ein Film, der photographische Qualitäten besitzt, aber ein einfallsloses Drehbuch und knöcherne Schauspieler.

Colombia. Stewart Granger (Rian Mitchell) has rediscovered an emerald mine from the Conquistador era and is exploiting it without any particular success with his friend Paul Douglas (Vic Leonard). Grace Kelly’s (Catherine Knowland) coffee plantation is put in danger as a result. Granger sacrifices the mine in a big blow-up for the benefit of the plantation.

With some minor references to „The Treasure of the Sierre Madre“, a film that has photographic qualities but an unimaginative script and bony actors.
