Don Camillos Rückkehr

1953. Pfarrer Fernandel (Don Camillo) bezieht sein Quartier in der überalterten Berggemeinde Montenara, wohin er versetzt wurde, wo es schneit und wo er auch die Stimme Jesu nicht mehr hören kann. Aber die Verbindung zu Brescello bleibt und Bürgermeister Gino Cervi (Peppone), der meint, ohne Fernandel nicht den Staudammbau gegen den Grundbesitzer Thomy Bourdelle (Cagnola) durchsetzen zu können, holt ihn zurück. Als der Po über die Ufer tritt und das Dorf unter Wasser steht, helfen alle zusammen und auch Bourdelle zeigt Zeichen sozialen Gefühls..

Fortsetzung von „Don Camillo und Peppone“, die weniger episodisch als der erste Teil, aber nicht minder gut ist.

1953: Father Fernandel (Don Camillo) moves to his quarters in the over-aged mountain community of Montenara, where he was transferred, where it is snowing and where he can no longer hear the voice of Jesus. But the connection with Brescello remains and Mayor Gino Cervi (Peppone), who thinks that without Fernandel he won’t be able to enforce the dam construction against the landowner Thomy Bourdelle (Cagnola), brings him back. When the Po overflows its banks and the village is under water, everyone helps together and Bourdelle also shows signs of social feeling.
