Die Erbin vom Rosenhof

Traubling, Oberbayern, 1930. Der neue Lehrer Paul Klinger (Matheis Sumerer) ist beliebt und erweckt den Neid seines Vorgesetzten Theodor Auzinger (Samweber). Und er beginnt eines Liebesaffaire mit der Hoferbin Hansi Knoteck (Anastasia Gschwendtner). Als deren Großvater Gustav Waldau (Gschwedtner) von seinem Knecht Karl Schöpp vor der Ernte im Stich gelassen wird, übernimmt Klinger für die Sommerferien die Stellung und erweist sich als talentierter Landwirt. Daß er angeblich die Arbeit der anderen Dorfknechte schlechtgeredet hat, lässt sie den Gesangswettbewerb, den Klinger organisiert hat, boykottieren. Doch Klinger stellt das richtig, erhält die Achtung des Ortes und Knoteck mit dem Rosenhof.

Das alte Stück wurde zwar modernisiert, aber vorsichtshalber in das Jahr 1930 verlegt. Die Prononcierung des Bauernstandes passte für eine unabhängige Produktion ins System, und Queri als Heimatdichter hatte seinem Namen stets Ehre gemacht. Doch es werden nur Typen, keine Figuren gezeigt und die Konstruktion ist allzu simpel. Wenig ausser ein paar Lachern.

Traubling, Upper Bavaria, 1930. The new teacher, Paul Klinger (Matheis Sumerer), is popular and arouses the envy of his superior, Theodor Auzinger (Samweber). He also begins a romantic affair with Hansi Knoteck (Anastasia Gschwendtner), the heiress to a farm. When her grandfather, Gustav Waldau (Gschwedtner), is let down by his farmhand Karl Schöpp just before the harvest, Klinger takes over the role for the summer holidays and proves himself a talented farmer. The rumour that he has been badmouthing the work of the other village farmhands leads them to boycott the singing competition that Klinger has organised. But Klinger sets the record straight, earning the respect of the village and Knoteck with the Rosenhof.

The old play has been modernised, but as a precaution has been set in the year 1930. The portrayal of the peasantry fitted neatly into the system for an independent production, and Queri, as a regional poet, had always lived up to his name. Yet only stock characters, not fully developed figures, are shown, and the plot is far too simplistic. Little except a few laughs
